Went to see the doctor today and he sort of started a conversation with me about my studies. I totally didn't see it coming from a random Polyclinic doctor. He asked me whether I had problems with Chemistry and I went, "YESSSSS...." He then asked about Physics. & yeah, everyone is surprise that I can't freaking do Chemistry but the opposite for the latter. (As if my Physics is way better...) Anyhow, it was a rather fruitful 3 minutes talk whilst he checked my blood pressure and simultaneously, telling me how much he hated Chinese and passed in the end for A's.

I'm not.

There are a few reasons why and I'm more than glad to share it with you. Haha,mainly because I have yet to complete my holiday assignments (actually, either way I'm still not planning to chiong by tonight. We know our limits, no?), my brain is still with Barack Obama for use, procrastination is my religion for which I intend to be as holy as possible and I didn't catch up with any sleep AT ALL. This is so sad.

Also, the fact that it's my birthday tomorrow bring about a series of different emotions.
I would like to enjoy the day with T17 girls as much as possible. Prolly go catch Mel's hockey match or something. Happy.
But thinking that Jane would most likely want to taupok me, together with the rest of T17 girls... it's Fear. HAHAHA!
This year's birthday would be quite a significant one. Since it's the big (for me) ONE EIGHT, I ought to do something interesting on that day like go clubbing, purchase a packet of cigg, lepak at a pub with a jug of beer etc. Thrill, no more.

and I guess the list will go indefinitely long...

Made a trip down to another beach with more locals that were enjoying their first day of Chinese New Year holiday. We people-watched and just sabai sabai... Lol.

Yesterday was like one of the most enjoyable days ever since J2 life commenced. Met up with lover for some shopping. Haji Lane rocks totally! Just gotta be careful of those really steep staircases. Ultra awesome trip to Hua Hin!

Before going for this trip, my mum said Uncle (Dad's friend) will be bringing us to this beach place. It got me so excited and so I did some googling...There you go!

We arrived at Bangkok first!

Met Uncle and went Hua Hin by car. Albeit the torturing two hour ride, the reward was priceless. Really.

On the way to Hua Hin, we stop by this famous river for some sight-seeing.

One good thing about trips to Thailand with Uncle is that you get to experience non-lucrative/touristy places!

We stopped by this area where monkeys reside and we, the kind souls, brought biscuits for them...

They were so excited and it was my first time seeing monkeys swim! One moment, we were commenting, "Oh... so cute!"

The next moment, "Shit! Go away!" *screams and tries to chase them out of the boat*

One of them snatched the packet of biscuits from Dad and the monkeys started fighting among themselves for it IN THE BOAT. We totally freaked out and I swear the sampan nearly capsized!

Oh man, that few seconds was totally hilarious.

Then, we decided that we should go to a temple to pray that all the biscuits are equally distributed to all those monkeys. Haha, kidding.

Omg, look at what Dad's touching...That's an elephant by the way.

And finally, we reached the resort!

Boyfriend Jeans re-ignited my passion for jeans totally! Especially for petite (okay, short to be exact) girls like me, it's okay to roll up your jeans outwards now and wear ultra baggy jeans to give it a rugged look. However, you might want to keep your feminine side by wearing pumps or heels to make you look taller since wearing jeans already sort of 'shorten' your height.

Boyfriend Jeans are supposed to be in for some time so no worries. & look at what Ralph Lauren Women has come up for their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection!

This morning while I was in the bus to Kovan, a bus officer board the bus and did his duty by checking whether everyone has paid for their ride. I paid by coins and didn't get the ticket so I kindly informed him that but why must all the bus officers be so moody? Don't like the job, quit la. He was like, "If you never collect the ticket must pay again. Go ask the bus driver for the ticket now." But at that point of time, I was already reaching Kovan so I sort of ignore him. He reiterated, "Go and get your ticket!" Everyone was looking at him now. (Guess he's a moody AS.)

What happened in the end?

I just alighted the bus and told myself to run as fast as I can. HAHA! Scardy cat.

This year's cross-country was themed as 'CJC Goes French & Green' due to the upcoming Youth Olympic Games (YOG) festive and as the theme implies, each class is to have a mascot dressed up in whatever that is related to France. So... you guys still remember Zinadine Zidane?

The guy with the infamous headbutt move that all girls ought to learn for self-defence. Haha kidding...Take a look at the '06 World Cup Finals match to recall.

At that time, this news created such a huge hoo-haa and since he represented France, leaving everyone with such fond memories of him, why not use him for our mascot then?

Ok, the issue is, all guys are running competitive. Since the girls are so glamorous as always (RIGHT?) plus Kit was running competitive, I DECIDED TO MAKE AN OMG-SO-FREAKING-HUGE SACRIFICE FOR 2T17! (Januavi, my 大餐thanks.)

Hahahahaha ok so exaggerating actually. Overall, cross-country was enjoyable! Saw quite a few bandsmen as their class's mascot. :) More photos will be uploaded once Kit is ready to publish on facebook. Stupid girl, I still cannot believe she has a private blog! Better don't gossip about me ah, cos nobody will gossip with you since it's PRIVATE. -__-

Rockafella VI was a blast! Everyone, or at least myself, went totally TOTALLY rocketing high. Jumping around, holding up the rocker sign, screaming till your throat hits resonance, moshing (almost) etc... Haha definitely a good way to destress.

I will recall what I've been doing for the past few days and slot in some photo moments taken by Herfeature simultaneously.

2 days away from school weren't the ideal plan, especially when I'm ill. Attempted to study but sadly, my body succumbed to the deadly bacterias that reproduce almost every nanosecond. Mind was too weak for some revision too hence, the screwing up of tests the next day. =(

My voice's the sexiest now. How awesome?

Upon returning to school, my nose was practically acting like a water hose, letting out infinitely large volumes of mucus and whatsnots. You decide. Nonetheless, all those exercises my poor nose had undergo for these days were definitely worth it I guess. I'm feeling much better now!

Gentle reminder from the guys. Haha so cute.

By the way, Maths CA was total hardcore. Felt so miserable after doing the test... Chem CA was manageable but still, we gotta expect the unexpected. Haha.

Interact Club set up a booth selling pretty roses for the upcoming Valentines' Day. There were so much hoo-haa today at the canteen with guys giving girls roses etc. BUTTT apparently, I wasn't very pleased with whatever's happening in the canteen today. Had been feeling cranky since morning! Hot weather to be blamed, totally. Ok wait no, the school really need to consider expanding the canteen. With the addition of the J1s, it was people mountain people sea la! Wha piang, so angry. Ended up eating from the Malay stall which was so not worth it as compared to say, beef udon?

Anyway, besides the grouchiness, I was super drowsy. I swear it's the flu medicine I took the previous night! Hahaha. So, to keep myself awake, especially during Maths lecture....

I need to complain literally.

Oh yes! I saw a Shawn look-alike today in CJ. Was shocked to see 'him' and I didn't even question myself why Shawn was wearing our uniform. Plus, that guy was carrying a crumpler. Okok, main point is... it's time to meet up with the Siglapians!!!! :D

Econs and GP lecture was surprisingly very engaging today! Mr Kang really knows how to lecture a whole bunch of us. We were learning about Politics in a Globalised World and he showed us 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. I didn't know humour existed in movies in 1975.

According to the survey, children and teens are now using their phones, computers, TVs and video-game systems for a total of 7.5 hours a day, or 52.5 hours a week. (The authors explain that multitasking and dual-use devices--like cell phones that play video--push those figures even higher.) In the past decade, music listening has increased the most, up nearly an hour per day. The only leisure activity that has become less popular is reading.

I was reading the February 1 TIME issue and saw this small article about us, literally. (Well, at least I was reading something.) And just some thoughts for some little sharing from the very insignificant me- You can't blame us right? If John Logie Baird did not invent the pervasive technology -TV- back then, will we still be in such dire situation? Well, hard to say, cause some other genius in the world will eventually come up with something similar that will either make or break future generations. So I suppose technological improvements are inevitable. Alright, the point is, we do not deserve the couch-potato title. How about the tech-savvy generation? (See, as I'm typing here, this is exactly what I mean about being tech-savvy.) Haha.

I shall abruptly stop my sudden need to voice out Justice (HAHA as if) here and post something decent. When I say decent, it means my blogging of the everyday life. So yeah, got 2 days MC from the doctor. I don't know whether or not I'm getting better. Having occasional head-piercing headaches sucks ttm. All of the sudden, I feel so segregated from the rest of the world, especially school. There is definitely huge-ass work for me to catch up when I go back. =S

GP tutorial was unbearable, like totally. "BUT THEN HOR..." (Ms Giam's way of rebutting an argument) GP consultation was surprisingly quite effective for me. So yeah, all well for GP.

School's routine is more or less the same nowadays. If I carry on writing about specific details on my everyday life (like how most amateur bloggers do), it does, in some way, bore you isn't it? Not saying that I'm not an amateur blogger but definitely, trying not to be one. Hahaha! Side-track: I can't believe I've been using blogger for 6yrs and going on. =S

After that, went Novena and Dad picked me up to go grandma's house for reunion dinner. & omg, Wei Shan is so cute I swear! She was so intrigued by the watches and refused to take it off.

After school, the class went to attend Kirti's Dad's wake. It was the first time for everyone of us to attend a different race's funeral. Then went to AMK Hub for lunch at Mos Burger. Went to PS alone after that to buy paints at Spotlight for the band banner and mugged at Burger King for 3hours. Home sweet home.

I feel so accomplished that 3 out of 4 assignments are done. Imma go do Chemistry later. :D

Omg ya, I also went for some mini shopping at PS and bought cute stationaries at Daiso before I mugged. Good source of motivation ya know! Haha.

T17's Batam OCIP Trip was fantabulous! Let the photos do the talking and enjoy! :D

We met early in the morning at HabourFront Ferry Terminal to (obviously) take a ferry to Batam. Everyone was elated to see each other and excited for the trip! So we took an approx. 45mins ferry ride to Batam and that's Tanni our tourguide in the second photo. One slutty laydee.

Take a moment to watch these videos of T17's OCIP trip to Cambodia since spending hours to upload photos and typing in captions ain't the rational thing to do right now. Hahaha. Everyone had a blast, although we were all aware that doing this wasn't much for them but rather, more for us. The cliche phrase, "eye-opening experience" is very applicable here I must say. You can't imagine the 45mins ferry ride can actually be that impactful. Overall, the trip was awesome! :D (Photos next time ya.)

Taken after our refreshing bath in school after one whole strenuous hour of mass PE. We were getting ready for dins at TPY. Haha was freaking starving by then, thus the time check.

Goodness, I was so sleepy today in school, especially maths. The lecturer is like a combination of Mr Chow and Mr Azam. Hilarious at times but can really put you to sleep MOST OF THE TIME. Vectors. Dot Product. My eyes were overpowering my mind to the maximum. Oh but Physics lecture was interesting! Gravitation. Universe is one awesome schlock. (No, I'm serious. Just that I can't find a word to describe it better than feaces.) & Mr Goh rocks totally. :D

Band after school was equivalent to double the shagginess. Extreme Makeover is exciting. Variations is boring.

Enlightenment is the word, I guess. I can make it through the rain, embrace those hardships and accept the mountainous challenges set for me. Main point is to not give up.

Are we all ready for school? With school now, there's not much time for band. Time constrains = the level of effectiveness gets hindered. This holiday has been majorly set for band, really. Enjoyed it tremendously but you pretty much lose the other; studies but I honestly wouldn't mind not fulfilling the latter though. Hehe. Ok, I need to get rid of that bad idea.

Band.
I can't emphasise how much I love to be in it, to be part of CJCSB especially, despite all the dramas and episodes. The feeling I have for this band is too much of a difference as compared to SCB. The people make up everything. Although it was a rough start for everyone, specifically the committee, I know we can do it somehow. I see a ray of light during our chalet. (Sidetrack: Will blog about Tune-In & Band Chalet soon.)

I know I've been much of an arsehole this year for not spending quality time with the family, showing my smelly face and all, but I really do appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart. Aha, first new year's resolution: to spend quality time with my precious family. 2010 will be a better year!

#2: Gurlfriends

This year, we didn't really spend much time together (4 of us) and we ought to in 2010! I know it'll be even worse for all of us next year but hey, stay optimistic ya? "No time!" is definitely not the excuse I want to hear cos my second new year's resolution: to make time for meet-ups with girlfriends. Hehe.

Shermain: Hey lover. Do you think we should do something crazy next year? HAHA, maybe something bigger than the Christmas Dare by Ellycia! You've been a faithful lover this year, hope you will continue to be cos it seems bleak to me. (If you get what I mean.) Alrighty, I love you!

Went Genting with family last week and it totally suck ttm. Everything was so screwed up; service, food (ok, not too bad actually), weather, people... everything. Maybe it's just not the place that I would enjoy going to. But I must say, the Five-Star coach we took was kind of awesome. Hehe. So, I only enjoy the bus ride.

Managed to meet up with girlfriends after so so long. Did a lot of catching up and heart to heart session. Too bad, Eugenia had to leave early for both days. Make time please! :D

Went to Shermain's house after a simple dinner at Central. Now, that's Sheila with a Love Letter in her mouth.

We've decided to use a bear as Eugenia. Yeah, that ugly bear with one random black string on his face! Hahaha. :DDDD

Met up at Tam1 with Eugenia and had late lunch on Xmas Eve. After which, she needs to go for carolling session and the rest of us headed to City Hall in search for Elly's Mooks but to no avail. Slacked at Esplanade rooftop which was pretty relaxing. Literally slacked fyi.

Went down to watch Just Brass's performance and had heart to heart session. More than happy to have my gurls with me during Xmas eve. No partying or whatever, simple and contented.

I really am frustrated with everything now in my life. Fucking don't know why. I guess it's accumulative. The thing is, I don't know what I want. & I don't like my parents being so kpo about my friends. I don't want to study anymore. How I wish my dad would read my blog just like how Shermain's dad does. Makes everything hell lot easier. I know i know i know I'm at fault too, because I don't always tell you all things. I'd rather keep things to myself. Same to my friends. Reason? None.

I know I haven't been spending time with my family. Yes, my fault. Band takes up most of my time and I thoroughly enjoy myself when I'm with my bandsmen. When there's no band, I'll meet up with my girlfriends. None for my family. Evidently, it's my fault and I apologise.

But muatha fucker when I realised I need to spend more time with my family, they fucking hell shoot sacarstic phrases at me. Wtf, you think I don't feel hurt meh? Knn. It makes me feel even more like not spending time with you all, you understand?! Then stupid questions blah blah blah. Wha piang, cannot take it anymore.

Another thing, I'm also very angry with myself. Like why did I agree to go JC when I know I can do much better in Poly. Not saying that Poly is much easier but my capabilities are much suited for it rather than JC. Why did I study so hard in Secondary School? Why did I set high expectations for myself back then? I am not smart. Argh fucking don't know how to explain lah.

My future. Is so freaking bleak. I don't know what to do! It's like I know what I'm interested in but father has a lot of crap regarding it. Yes, it's true but why can't we just enjoy our life with your favourite job and not bother how much you can earn in one month.

I mean, I totally understand his point lah. Aiya fuck lah.

Main point is, I freaking don't know what I want.

Days before, the committee had everything plan out on what we want to get things done, i.e settle administrative and outstanding issues, at his house before the rest of the bandsmen join us. After buying groceries to stock up Sir's kitchen at the NTUC Fairprice near his house, we went up his house, probably thinking, "Okay, we need to get things done.". However, things didn't go according to plan.

Went to Vivo & Central with Shermain and Kai Xiong as the latter needed to photograph some architecture stuff for his work. Brought my dearest Lumix along but ditched him for Kbear's DLSR instead. Oh my but I still love you, you know that. Lol.

Have been given a huge responsibility, I shan't break down and continue to stay strong. The role is totally different from Secondary School. I have none of the courage back in those times. There is so much to do, so much to settle, so much to embrace, so much to overcome. I simply don't know where to start.

Overwhelmed.

But I can make it through the rain. Must.
The band can do it. Covalent bond, ionic bond, metallic bond whatever. We need to do it.
Today was an emotional band session. I just hope any of the bandsmen reading this, will come with an open mind for the next practice.

Tune-In is our main priority now.

Not much photos, was getting ready to leave for Singapore. =(
We went Chinatown in the morning to buy stuff then headed to MBK shopping mall, which was awesome, for more shopping.

We took a tut tut to Chinatown! My very first time on it.

MBK was much more shiok! Everyone should go there. There is this make-up store; Beauty Buffet which was da bombz! Elder sis and I totally fell in love with it. Love the concept!
