The Kukup Trip (1)

It was awesome, the trip.
We, or to be exact the kids of our time, really get to experience the kampong life and our parents would repeat again and again saying, "See! Let you all experience this... last time ah..."

There were quite a few uneventful sights as well, needless to say. Like how we live without a sewage system. & the best part is, I always felt like shitting for that 2 days. So, I apologise. Haha!

Anyway, I'll describe about the trip more as I go along. Enjoy the photos cause I totally enjoyed taking those awesome photos! Very proud of myself.

Elder sister's Mr Grumpy. She call it Mr Happy though.
She brought it along with her to Kukup for don't know what.

Funshine with her Mr Happy. Mine is always chained on my bag, so...

Elder sister. Good natural lighting.

Hehe, so proud of myself.

I can't help but emphasize that she looks like a poodle dog sometimes.
Haha. =/

We've reached!

Click on it for a clearer and larger view.

It's really very similar to Pulau Ubin except that Kukup is way better.

So we took a ferry over to our place. Stopped at our personal jetty.

The boats are labelled and the owners have really cool name like Ah Meng, Ah Lan etc.
Lmao!

Wa, freaking long arms.

Bro can't stop eating chewing gums!

Trying to at gangster-like.

The mangrove swamp surrounding us.

Our place. Very home feel.

Our place has the best view, I tell you!

Younger sister.

Buying some local products. They will come when you call for them. Call as in use a phone to call.

This is childhood man.

You know, the one you throw on the floor and makes a 'piak' sound?

Dad bought durians and I'm so addicted to it after the trip. I don't really like it initially.

Dad trying to force open the durian.

I look tall with them hor?
But super small with Jane and gang. HA!

Mudskippers fighting.

I love this!

They have a newly-built temple there.

Oh... very proud of myself yet again. Hahaha.
I asked mum whether this photo is nice or not.
She then pointed out, "But in front of the temple...a bit not right ah."
Lmao!

Not nice. Haha. =/

NICE?! I practically instructed her what to do and all and she claimed she is Singapore's Next Top Model. -.- But I concede she did a good job.

Our bbq dinner.

The family who owns this house.
I felt rather guilty of myself when I saw those small kids helping out their family etc.
Enthusiastically some more.

There was a black out around evening time before the sun sets, fortunately.
At the beginning of our bbq dinner, we were still surviving without lights and all electrical appliances until it reached at point when people started taking our their phones for some light.

So I randomly tried to snap a photo with flash to give them one second of brightness. Haha.
Who knows the next moment, the electricity came back. Haha, must be me...

Then, it's time for some fireworks!

Everyone was so excited!

All the itchy fingers.

I actually have some videos of the fireworks, will upload later.

My neighbours giving it a try.
One of them is my Primary school classmate but hahah, I forgot his name so I didn't really much talk to him until dinner time when he initiated a convo. He lives just above my house some more.
Jialat...

The day came to an end and lights out.

Oh by the way, this trip was organised by our RC (Zone 3) so you can expect the people who went are all our neighbours.

Stay tuned for part 2 ya!

(?)

I want nobody nobody but you!
*clap clap*

Haha, ignore the random-ness above.

So, I'm totally awaiting for tomorrow- Kukup trip!
Yay.

Anyway, today was quite a long day. I don't know, it just felt long. Prolly because of the long mrt ride to Clementi plus miles of walking etc. Will explain explicitly below.

Ok, the J1 clarinetists had sectionals at Nat's today. It was rather fun I suppose.
Cute siblings, cute collectibles, cute dog.

Eh wait, the dog ain't that cute. It's a freaking big golden retriever which is approximately the same height as me. =/
Plus, it jumped up to most of them many times just to lick their faces. & I mentioned THEM because I was being a scardy cat to join them. Also, big dogs normally have like free flow of saliva drooling out, you know?

Nevertheless, I had to say the face is kind of adorable lah. If not for the size, I would consider liking it.

We did on our ensemble piece. Man... I don't know why my really high notes are always squeaking! =(

Oh yes, I had Steph waiting for me in Pasir Ris when I was at Clementi which everybody knows is at the other end of Singapore. Omg, so I rushed out with Calista, trying to figure out how the hell do I get out of this place. We were practically lost in the midst of bungalows, bungalows and more bungalows! Hahaa, we had fun peeking in some too. OMG, they have swimming pool in every house. Awesome! But the walk was indeed tiring, I'm sure it did burn off some of my fats. Haha!

Took some photos whilst burning some fats off.
Kill two birds with one stone eh?

It's an old train track I guess.
Thought I saw it on some one's blog way back.

Cal.

We wore the same colour tee, coincidentally.

Hahaa, Nat said she wore her pyjamas out. =/

Trying to look enjoyable.

Hui sian. I look so short.

When we finally walked out of the place and I took a bus to Clementi Mrt Station, I saw Hui Sian and Ying Xuan already in the station waiting for the train.
The fact is, they left later than us and took the 4.30 shuttle bus but reached earlier than us.
Walao, should have heed Cal's advice. Never mind, exercise is good for health.

Oh! By the way, do you know gossiping is good for health?!

Anyway, as I was saying, Steph came my house just not long ago. It was hilarious how we video call-ed Qing Yun to describe to her how we wanted the invitation card to be and etc. It was a total joke I tell you.

Hmm, tomorrow's the trip to Malaysia and I've yet to pack.
Hate the packing.

Till then.

Hell, no?

The weather's killing me.
It's like bbq-ing a live person who don't want to die so fast. I'm sweating profusely but I just don't see where the heat's coming from. Ok, like we're expected to see it. Lol.

There's nothing much to blog about today just that I'd been slacking at home like an ultra pigass.
Oh! Did you all watch the video on the previous post? If not, go watch it!
It's Lisa Williams communicating with the spirit in Shores Restaurant, asking him to show himself. I can watch all her episodes over and over again without getting bored.

You've got to watch this, seriously.

Oneiric.

Lol.

I finally went shopping today, at last after so long.
Really contented. Hung out with girlfriends, first with Eugenia at Bugis then later, Ellycia and Shermain joined us at Marina Square.

Chillax-ed~

Here are the photos:

Salted lemon with sourplum juice. Taste good!

But it was kind of a huge serving, thinking sharing would help...

Iluma. Nothing much but the level where all the food restaurants station... best!

Illusion. Haha.

Eugenia.

Our usual hangout vicinity. (Not fullerton though, sadly.)

Acting all tourist-like. Hahaa.
The ladies were practically posing like some models, can you believe it? Not me ah.

I love the wide lens!

Tourists from China, Bangladesh and Egypt.

Mr Merlion.

Self-explanatory.

Hahaa, actually I forced them to take a photo with merlion cos everyone around us was doing that, so why not?

Unfortunately, I had to do it alone.

Chilling at kfc.

Got the definition of chilling yet?

Disgusting leftovers by Eugenia.

Colonel Sanders. (?)

Till then.

Boyfriend.

Lee Min Ho a.k.a Gu Jun Pyo.

Omg, so humsome leh.

Hahaa, I suddenly remembered Brandon imitating Jan Di shouting, "GU JUN PYO!".
Ultra joke.

Ok, will blog later.

Till then.

Awesome-ness!

Today as usual, we had band in the morning. After that, had lunch with the bandsmen @ AMK Sumo house, a Japanese restaurant. Omg, it's recommendable cos it's cheap yet the food are up to standard.

& AMK is practically a foreign land to me, so how nice of Ying Xuan and Calista to bring me around, tempt me with good food especially at the basement of AMK Hub and make me feel real fat now.

Hmm, AMK Hub seriously have everything. Not like White Sands/ E!Hub or whatever you can think of. Plus, there's this Macdonalds at AMK Garden where I foresee it'll be my next mugging hangout. Very serene and all. & if you are stuck with some physics concept, no worries, just cross the road and there's a National Library for you to go check it out.

Maybe I should consider moving out of the East side of Singapore in future albeit the fact that the East is much more cleaner etc.

After that, went for the GWH celebration @ AJC. Played games and most importantly, we ate a feast! Not forgetting, we had our lunch like just 2 hour before the feast. So it's like... you know what I mean. Plus, Calista propaganda-ed me to share 2 scoops of Hokkaido ice cream with her because it was cheap. She was like,"Eh, I don't think the food they cater will be nice right? Cos that time Bro Paul boast about what a feast we're gonna get but it turned out..." That was referring to the SYF Presents.

Butttttt.... unexpectedly, we've got really good food with ice cream from VENEZIA. Omg, can't believe it right? I'm really sure I've gained some weight now. Special thanks to the AJ String Bass guy's parents for sponsoring this celebration. Should be some rich ass, I suppose.

Overall, fun day especially the celebration.
But kns, I took photos with my fellow bandsmen and the itchy fingers of mine went to re size the photos just now, after which it became all white! Walao eh.

Never mind, Herfeature shall learn to be discipline and not get angry so easily.

Till then.

P.S: This is a rare occasion whereby I explicitly share my whole day itinerary.

JI BU SAI!

One pile of shit, that is.

Walao, super pissed.
I don't know why. So silly to think of it.

Ugh.

Oh yes, I'm super embarrassed too.
Just now an unknown number called my phone, was rather reluctant to pick up, cause I was afraid it was some alumni whom I tried to contact yesterday but didn't get through. &... I eventually picked up, thinking it was from one of the alumni and explained to him that it was for the band directory and etc.

(After so long)

Him: "Er, I'm not alumni."

Me: "Huh? Then...?"

Him: "I'm the horn tutor."

Me: "OH OH OH! Mr Marcus Ng is it?!"

Walao I tell you, super paiseh. Especially when I just jumped into conclusion and explained to him, acting so professionally. Hahaha. -.-'

Now I realised, Stephanie used my phone to call him.
STEPHIE! -.-'''

Eh? I feel better now after all the rantings.

Till then.

Suicidal.

Yes, on the verge.

There's so much things to do yet so little time.

Stick to the status quo.

I'm planning to sit the flyer, so maybe I'll plan my suicide from there.

Or how about shopping till I drop dead? Like really drop dead.
Haha.

Till then.

Wrathful!

I TELL YOU! I CAN FREAKING KILL A WHALE NOW, USING MY OWN BARE HANDS!

Walao, why didn't they accept our interview...

IDIOT, WHY WHY TELL ME WHY?!
At least explain to me lah, who will believe that you all are busy this year? Come on, don't try to bluff us through that. Recession is here to stay ya.

kns.

I don't understand lah, like why can't they just accept? I just don't accept the way how the society act on us, innocent students, trying so freaking hard to score well for our pw. Idiot...

Now what?
