'SYF Presents' was totally awesome, I guess.
The band was enjoying ourselves very much that we actually stood up and cheered for Sir when he received his bouquet of flowers.

Choir was fantastic!
We heard them during rehearsals and they sang until I had goosebumps like nobody biz.

Ok, let's back track a bit...
Before performance, went TPY Hub for our lunch with a group of bandsmen.
Calista's a joke man. I should say it here, since most of them love reading my blog right?
It's so irritating lah. Can you believe they always discuss my blog content, with me around some more?

I accompanied Calista to buy her cookies from Famous Amos and while traveling up the escalator, she whispered (HAHA!) to me, "Eh, I think my that one came out again.". Since it happens quite often, I was sort of immune to it. So I replied, "Orh." (Ok, I'm laughing crazily to myself now) When we reached Famous Amos, she still couldn't buckle her skirt, so I told her,"Okok, I help you block...". That was when I saw her unzipped skirt which was really hilarious, I swear! So I started laughing really loudly, really LOUDLY. According to Calista, passer-bys turned and stare, the workers at Famous Amos were also looking. If I remembered correctly, I was laughing so hard that I couldn't balance myself, moving like a drunk man so I actually lean against the cashier counter to steady myself and continued laughing.

After purchasing her cookies, the China lady worker asked me what I was laughing about. So, being innocent enough, I told her. But she sided Calista though. Hahaha, very funny lah.

Anyway, back to the main topic.
I would like to thank my classmates who turned up for the performance yesterday!
You guys rock! Love the flowers and chocolate. Stupid Cindy lied to me she's not coming, but she turned up in the end. Hope you guys enjoyed the band performance!

&& most importantly, my girlfriends <3 who came down all the way to CJC to support me.

Went town today, initial plan was to buy presents for Sir and Patrick but we went shopping instead. It was suppose to be a section outing but unfortunately, a lot of them cannot make it. Jacqueline, Amirul, Kuan Ming, Justin, Ying Xuan, Qing Yun and I turned up. However, most of them among this group also have their own plans so when night comes, it's left with Amirul, Kuan Ming, Justin and I. We were shopping at Far East but it so weird to shop with them lah.

Oh, can I say this?

XingHao and Sean crashed Justin's house yesterday and all three of them cam-whored on the bed, according to Justin. I wonder... *wriggles eyebrow*

AJC has attained GWH too, which means to say, it's double the gold + honours for Sir! Haha.
Damn zai. Really feel so happy for them! & we would like to thank AJ for giving us their time with Sir before syf to practice and even 'lent' us your school for sectionals etc.

They're definitely a band of friendly people! =)
Furthermore, we're the only two bands that has gotten GWH for now. That's incredible. I suddenly remembered what Calista said after syf, "Wha sai, it feels like I've just gotten my exam results lah and don't feel like studying now."


Anyway, hate Project Work. It's super shitty, until now I'm still getting like AE? I don't know, PL didn't even bother to grade me. =( Sigh, I've got a lot of things to catch up in school!

From all our dark baggy eye bags to our red swollen thumbs, it's all worth it.
All worth it... ...

We're not a group of talented bandsmen, but definitely sure, we're a hardworking band.
Every single one of us come from different background (Although most of them are rich kids) but we still come as one to enjoy music. Oh crap, what am I talking about?

Anyway, we've come a long way. No words can describe how I felt the moment we hear, "Band number 5, Catholic Junior College. Gold... (pauses for awhile)...with honours."
And then the next moment, all I could hear were cheers that deafened my ear. I starting crying, tears of joy just trickled down my cheeks, exactly the same as how I got to realised I'd got B3 for my English. Before the release of results, we were quite down for some reasons after listening to other bands which we still think they deserve better than a Sliver/ Gold. It was an unprecedented moment, really.

Man, everyone was hugging each other, squeezing the other's hand, screaming in our hearts (Being sensitive here) etc. All our long hours of practices, all the way till 9+pm, were worthwhile. Everything that was done, were worth it.

Nevertheless, the most important person that kept the band spirit alive is none other than Sir Alvin. I seriously think he's a super good conductor, at the age of 28, with his own unique style of music. Really appreciate what he has sacrificed for us; the sleepless nights just to complete our intonation chart for every single bar, listening to our recordings and making adjustments.
One cool conductor he is!



I still remembered vividly that the band was in a risk (as stated from previous posts) and how demoralised everyone was. Hmm, maybe CJ does create miracles? Haha. Or was it because of Brother's prayer? Haha.

Omg, I still cannot believe this.

Tomorrow is CJCSB's SYF Central Judging Competition. I'm currently having mixed feelings; a little of this and that. & Choir has attained GWH and frankly, I'm feeling the stress coming within myself.


Oh, CJC SYF Presentation will be on Friday held @ the PAC. Please go, my friends!!! You know who you are.;)

P.S: Bring along a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate will be good.

Anyway, school today was average. Just that Band ended at 9.40pm, absolute madness I know.
Had my Chem test at the library today and let's just pray hard I can pass cause remember, I failed my previous CA? Oh, and Physics CA is coming up this Thurs. Hell.

I was supposed to participate in Fitness 100 under the Inclined Pull-Up category but due to my make-up test, Kit Yee replaced me. & I heard she did 50 pull-ups in 100secs, 90 sit-ups in 100secs and lastly, the most hardcore one, 12 sets of GST a.k.a Grand Stand Torture.
She's one strong woman!

I'm extremely touched. I don't know what to say but definitely knows he hasn't gave up on us. SiYuan just msned me awhile ago and told me to remember that 'Positive Thinking is important' which I find very meaningful that I don't know what to reply. (I am still very shocked that he was once a bandsman.) Haha, & he said something about just think that no body's watching you when performing.

Oh yes, saw Chun You just now at the airport studying. We were catching up with each other's life and somehow he mentioned Suzanna. So he asked which course she went into, I told him "Ngee Ann Poly- Chinese Media" and he reply was hilarious, "Okay... she all along very Chinese one hor... since primary school..."

With Sir scolding the Clarinet Section as a whole, I still thinks that he was just targeting at me only. The way he looked into my eyes, and said "I feel very sad for you..."
Man, this is terrible. Somehow I just feel that I'm the one that is pulling the band down together with me.

Furthermore, Justin told me he reminiscence Sliver. I don't know what to reply him, forget about consoling him.

Another thing, I realised that after coming to CJ, I concede that yes, I enjoy school but I feel like I'm a different person from before. Everything's so different; I don't really study as seriously as before. What's wrong? Still thought I could do well for O's and get into a better school and have a better future ahead; to get out of the vicious cycle etc.

Sigh, perhaps I don't belong to The Category afterall.
