The 32th NCO P.O.P

Today went for band practice as usual.
It was fun! The juniors were half way there to playing the full of
'Majestia'. They also played another piece called 'Marchus Maximus'.
It was my first time looking at it so i was like panicking a little however,
Chong Soo was telling me to cool down and say it's easy. Haha, what a junior!
:DDD For Senior band, we played 'Ghost Fleet' & 'Under the flag of glory'.
It was yet again my first time playing through the whole score and i'm addicted to it now. It's really so nice.. :))))
One funny thing, there's a part for 'Ghost Fleet' where Clarinettist had our
trails. We were all trying our best to find other alternative even the saxes!
So we decided to put our toes in action! No lah, we were just joking around.
Sitting beside Suzanna is a bad decision for me, she would make me laugh and laugh
and LAUGH. But it's good too as it can enlighten my mood! ;) I had to begged Layhoon to accompany me to the NCO p.o.p. In the end, i had to treat
her an ice-cream. We took a cab there with Mr Pan! He's so nice, you know what?
After the p.o.p, Layhoon and i decided to leave and asked Mr Pan for directions to
the bus-stop. He actually gave us $20 and ask us to take cab home. But we decided to
take a cab to Bugis and save $10 and give it back to him the next practice.
I was thanking him so much so he just smiled and said, " Practice hard ah!".
We didn't want to accept the money in the first place but he said, "Don't want lah,
later you all don't know how to go."
and force us to take it. He's so SO nice, i don't know what to say. He cares about his students and treat them equally. If you do something wrong, he scolds. You excels, he praises you. No words can describe exactly how i want to say about how nice is him. And i bet not only do i feel this way, SCB too!
Btw, saw Ms Tan Chai Ying there. I called her name and she realise i was from Siglap
after looking at my band tee. She works at the MOE i think, she seems to be turning up for every event that includes Singapore schools & music. She even wore the committee shirt for today's NCO p.o.p. Overall, the p.o.p was quite alright. Looking at each schools DM&BM...laughing at them... gossiping... wha-ing...etc.
*Spot Mega for the 1st photo & Serene for 2nd photo!
