"THBT Teenagers are extrinsically motivated."

In the beginning, I thought our class was going to lose for the finals of debate held by the EL department as we're going for the opposition and does not believe on this motion. I read this quote for the first time and strongly do agree with it and I personally feel I'm one of them too. However after hearing to the points of what our class team had got to say, I do agree that teenagers are extrinsically motivated but it is what intrinsic motivation that trigger them off first to further think about extrinsic motivation. And I'm truly glad to say our class won the debate! We're the champion. Nevertheless, it was indeed a good game with our worthy opponents.

Today school was freaking stressful. We had a History Suprised test which is apparently on this Friday but was brought forward and everyone was complaining till Ms Lie couldn't stand it so it was changed to an assignment instead. Haha. And later that day, we had a Chemistry test which I studied like hell but still, think that I'm going to flunk. I'd got tons of careless mistakes and it was 'kind' of Hao An to tell me those. I could nearly cry a river k! Ugh, I'm going to score badly lah...

Oh yes, I had my first tuition lesson last Saturday for Physics and English, 2hours each. It was rather interesting. Quite funny though. I just hope these tuitions will really pull up my grade.

Band practice nowadays were really stressful. The band spirit is not there alr, the Sec3s are not bonded enough, etc. On Monday, we (Sec3s) really talked things out and I hope we can hang out more often. We must work hand and hand together as you can see we're lacking of communication. =) To Christine: I hit you because I care lor!
I hope and will make things turn out well.

Presenting: Sim Shermain a.k.a my lover

Don't get deceive by her looks cause she ain't that cute afterall.
I hate her to the core and that's definitely the truth. Reason being?

She bloody stole my spongebob t-shirt and
wear it when I wasn't around!!!

Asshole. I shouldn't have showed it to her and I bet she's freaking jealous (as written in her blog.). Hahaha. FYI, the Physics group came over to my house yesterday to do the Chemical car project but we didn't even accomplished anything. I went and took a bath for a short while and this happen. -.- More wonder their faces look so guilty! & saw the first photo with her wearing shades? She too went and kope her brother's over-sized shades and took multiple shots of her own. Sigh, no comments.
---
I haven't been blogging for many days and there's zillions of photos waiting for my to upload them. I guess I wouldn't be blogging so often anymore cause I don't even have time to spare during weekends due to the packed schedule. Saturday- Band in the morning, 4hrs of tuition after that @ Orchard. Sunday- tuition in the morning, rest of the day for my to chiong my school work. That's the reason why I'm always feeling stress. Haha, nah.

Last week, my class just got an Amaths test on Modulus and I thought I would flunk it.
Fortunately, I managed to get 24/30 which was quite suprising. =) Luck.
Yes, I had to attend the AMC in the end to replace Rauhdah's position as she was absent last minute. I suck at this so the easiest way out was to tikam any number and transferred it into my answer sheet and I fell asleep right after that. But Mr Kek woke me up not long after.
-.- Although he tried his best giving us clues on how to solve, I just couldn't catch any balls. Haha.

I cannot think of anything to blog now. Next time I guess.
Ciao.

I don't understand why this is happening. I just feel that I'm in a difficult position now. Things are changing, everyone is changing. I feel so fucking pissed with my life. All I want now is my family and some time alone. I seriously feel like getting out of this world and live in another place, start a new life or whatever. Maybe immersing myself with studies could make me feel better? I just want to study cause I can for tell that I'm gonna drown. Things are not falling into place. Fuck. =(

My friends are leaving me for some reason, I don't know. I can truly understand how XXX feels now and for that I apologise to you. Some change drastically and some is making me feel that I cannot trust her/him anymore. I'm feeling devastated.

Fuck.

"Sacrifice. You'll get your present later."

Remember all these? Come on, think back.
Yes, this time they're here! Our China counterparts arrived at Singapore yesterday evening. We were so excited but now I kind of find it a chore to host them. I had to take care of her welfare, safety, etc. It's really tough. Furthermore, I'm struggling with tonnes of homeworks to be accomplished as soon as possble. Like wth?! -.- I can feel that she's feeling bored at home cause I'm either doing homework or stuck with the computer. But she rejected Pa's offer to go Clarke Quay to admire the night views there. Sigh!
Yes! I sacrifice my favourite English Radio Station-98.7fm to 93.3fm leh...

Anyway, I had a tad little excitement hidden deep inside my heart for tommorrow's outing to Sentosa! =) Haha, we will be going Gan Eng Seng School first though. K lah, need to go.
Ciao.

"Your smile so bright, just like the sunshine."

Finally, the weekends are here! Salute. Although it's literally here, I don't find myself having sufficient rest as I still have to drag myself out of bed early in the morning during the sats/suns to either attend tuition or band practice. What is the 5day work-week for?! They might as well just demolish this law.

Recently, our school broke the record for the number of late-comers. Just two days ago, we had approximately a class of 40 pupils late for school and imagine the amount of people we had to spot check. Their reason was "The bus broke down." which I found it rather true.

Lessons today was short and ended at 12.30 as usual. The special thing today was that my class didn't have journal which I detest the moooossstttt! Instead, we had English conducted by Ms Priya to prepare for our common test. It's much more better than racking our brains, forcing ourselves to write rubbish on our journal books.

During our History lesson, the respective groups presented a short skit each and it was really hilarious! We all ended up talking in Singlish, having a no-ending type of skit, etc. Anyway, good job to all.

Oh yes, I'm proud to say I had finally completed my Binomial assignments and one assignment of Modulus function! Way to go... =) Today, I nearly freaked out when Mr Kek went round the class checking on each and every one's assignment. I managed to stay calm and steady in the end. Hahaha.

Junior band today was fabulous! Three cheers for my lovely juniors (general). They really made my day, laughing throughout the bus journey, sharing dirty jokes and the bonding is there. Further more, they did well for full band. Continue to strive for greater heights, many room for improvements! I'm just worried about the logistic for jbf...

(just for laugh.)
Don't pressurize yourself too much. Ain't good for your body k? If you believe that you had tried your very best, he can't do anything. Prove him wrong, show him that you can do. It's just a matter of time. You'll realised it when the time is ripe. It's always normal to feel like that similarly to me. I faced problems like this too but I overcomed it in the end. If I'm able to do that, I'm sure you can do it. We need obstacles once in a while, take this as a challenge for yourself, to motivate youself, to strive for greater heights. Take it as a good sign, be optimistic. Do not feel demoralised cause it's not worth to. Sooner or later, it'll be over. Tell yourself this, you can do it. Last but not least, all the best for your performance. WAY TO GO BROTHER! =)

"The best way to express yourself is..."

Hello world, tell you a secret. I fell down and injured both my knees today during PE. I'm having two perfect white 'knee guards' protecting them now. Hahaha! It all happened when my group was competing with the other on Floorball. Being the suey one, Nazmi held his floorball stick out and I tripped over it while tackling for the ball, fell straight to the ground. Luckily my face wasn't injured, maybe my lips were but it wasn't severe. So everyone was asking if I was fine or not. And my pangsai girls laughed at me after I fell! Before that, they were so caring and concerned. I'm going to have my sweet revenge if anyone of them fell or etc. Don't worry, the time will come.

Omg, as if I'm such an evil-er.

Mr Chow didn't come to school today so I actually wasted my time studying for the Emaths test that was supposed to be on today. Tsk-.- The good thing was, we have exactly 1hr to discuss about the BBQ organised at Ellycia's house next Saturday and the Racial Harmony Preparation. I hope everything will fall into place.

English and Social Studies today was extremely boring. Everyone was dead I guess. I tried to keep myself awake but everytime I forced open my eyes, the lids seemed to get heavier. Shit, I can't carry on like this. Did I tell you about my Physics results?

I flunked it, k. 23/40
My god, I REALLY need to do something about it. Fucking dissapointed in myself.
My instinct tells me that I won't be doing so well for my academics afterall... I can simply forget about going to Mj. Oh yes, we were given an extra Physics project by Mr Azam on 'Making of Chemical Car' using baking soda and vinegar. I suck at these man, but luckily there's an expert in our group. Haha.

I'm feeling damn vexed now cause I don't seemed to be finding pictures or relevant stuffs for Racial Harmony Preparation. I don't know why I can't access to the MOE website! Sigh...

Things are falling apart.

However, I'm lovin' Pocahontas.

(The back of Twinning Programme Shirt)
I'm proud of this!=)

"Having big dreams is nothing wrong."

I want. I need. I hope.
To achieve my dreams which is to have a good future so that my doings now won't make me feel regretful after the end of the day. Mr Chow mentioned about the 3 PSI Scholars who were attached to our school these few days and I guess I had got some motivation. Haha?

Mr Kek was telling us about an article he read on the newspaper a few days ago quoting, "6000+ millionaires in Singapore." during our Amaths lesson today. I was traumatised! Think about the population in Singapore and find the percentage of millionaires, you do the maths. I bet you'll be shock when there's so many millionaires in our country yet having beggars roaming around the streets asking for food, living in poverty. Contradicting ain't this? What a world we're living in... Capitalism.

Ok, this is random. I remembered my trip to China last year together with the Twinning Programme group whereby we were walking in a tunnel and there were people selling cute puppies along the walkway. Being innocent, I walked towards the 'stall' and took a shot of those puppies wrapped in a cloth. Before I could snap a photo, the stallholder immediately stopped me and scolded me harshly. I just stood rooted to the ground staring at him while Ms Jermaine Lim grabbed hold of my arm and we left. It was only minutes later then my fear was got rid of. A memorable experience indeed.

I'm suppose to complete my Amaths Binomial Assignment now instead of blogging. Ugh, I hope Mr Kek won't appear in my dream tonight. Ngehaha!

Oh yes, bought the traditional costume for Racial Harmony Day already. I can't wait!!! Furthermore, my China counterpart will be around and she will be able to see the whole school filled with colours of race. But too bad, she isn't wearing one and I doubt she wants to wear too. Haha.

Today had Self-practice and most of the Juniors turned up. Suzanna took full band on them and the Seniors went for self-practice. So after band, I was pestering them to get out of the room. I assumed that there was no one else in the band room alr however, Kiat King proved me wrong. He forced open the library door and guess what? Lisa and gang was inside having their own practice and the librarians doing their admin work. So they were all blaming me for being careless and etc. HAHA! In the end, they tried to lock me up in the band room for revenge.
Tsk-.-

Ciao.

"Sealed it with a kiss."

School was rather hectic today. I didn't get to sleep well yesterday but surprisingly I was wide awake during lessons. Thanks to the sweets from Jane and probably H2O too. Reminding me of Jane, I still haven't started watching '200pounds beauty' she lent to me a week ago. Tsk-.-

The first period was Chemistry which wasn't quite a subject that I'm looking forward to. It has got nothing to do with the subject FYI. I'm trying my best to understand the titration calculation as I find it kind of complex. Gahhh, stop beating round the bush, I hate the teacher k. =(

Amaths was as usual very tiring and energy-consuming. Imagine how many brain cells died while racking my brains to get the answer for Modulus Function, etc. However, today's lesson was spiced up by an interesting joke told by Mr Kek our beloved yellow-man. He also told us about how he cheated when he was in Primary 1 and got caning on the same year.

Today in school, we had 3 visitors who we assumed that are Scholars as told by the teachers. From their intelligent look and neat appearance, what I could do was just to admire them at one hidden corner. During my English lesson, one of the 3 Scholars visited my class. I bet she's bored. (Duh.)

Omg, let's kowtow to Mr Chow! It was seriously unexpected that he didn't even mention a single thing about the remedial last week. I felt quite guilty though, shouldn't do this anymore.

So after school was Physics common test. I just hope I can pass, that's it. I don't aim high for Physics...

Band today was fun I can say. We had theory lessons on Pirates of the Carribean and played the full song too. I personally feel that the Main Band should have more sectionals although the focus now is on JB. It should be equally balanced for what I think.

Ok, time for some sleep. Ciao.

"Live Earth Day."

I guess I'm the last one to blog about 'Live Earth Day'. Hahaha, I'm just wondering why people decided to take actions when they were reminded of only but not having the initiative to try and make a difference daily. I admit I'm included inside and I was just questioning myself a while ago.

I had Band today as usual but before that, went for the meeting regarding the Twinning Programme that will be held 2 weeks from now. Feeling excited now...
The plan for Band now is to focus more on the juniors for their upcoming performance- Junior Band Festival @ Victoria Concert Hall. Lots of work to be done within 2months or so!
The juniors have to put in umpteen hard work & effort to make this performance a successful one. Meanwhile, there's many issues to solve. Tsk, all the best.

DANG! Physics ct falls on the next monday and I've yet to study. Shit. Got to get going!

"Fairytales do come true when you believe."

Featuring my master artwork using recycled material-Yakult can. It's quite pathetic though but it's done anyway. I kind of lost touch with the inspirations of decorating, wth seh. Maybe due to the overloaded of Science, Maths, etc.

Anyway, today school was torturing cos maybe my mood wasn't there. You know 2 more days to weekend?! But I managed to survive through it. Ugh, need to continue doing my homeworks.
Oh yes, I skipped Emaths remedial. Shit, Mr Chow was very angry.
Ciao.

"We need to get the Porn Pond cleaned."
I need a B-R-E-A-K.
I have been imagining a lot of things these few days, going overseas
and enjoy till the fullest. To think that Holidays just ended. -.-Tsk
Study is what I always do now and today I had a conversation with Shermain about
Singapore's education system compared to overseas. It made me realised how hard we're slogging just to buy a certificate to bring us somewhere better in future. You know, not like ending up in Siglap. Talking about that, I should have studied hard for my PSLE examination. Aye, cannot blame as I wasn't as matured as I am now when I was in P6.
School was boring. =( Who loves to study seh?!

Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave
this is a summary of your personality:

You are sensitive and indecisive at times. You are a freedom
lover and a strong person. You are shy and reserved. If you've drawn a cross on
each of windows, you always want to live alone. Once you have a problem, you
need a friend with you. son. When it comes to love, you shut yourself off. It's
difficult to win your heart because you have decided to keep your feelings deep
inside. You have a strong personality and you like to command, influence and
control people. You added a flower into your drawing. The flower signifies that
you long for love.(?) It's also safe to say that others don't see you as a
flirt. You don't think much about yourself.

"Plan your time right and nothing will go wrong."Pardon me for my hairy legs.
Just came back from the airport after many hours of studying at Macdonalds.
& my butt hurts. May god bless me, I'm having the worst day of my life.
"Don't be afraid to day dream cause one day you'll need it."

I managed to squeeze all my favourite photos in one collage though it wasn't up to my expectation. Be optimistic! First try always turn out like this for me. Heh. =)

My life's getting bored seriously. I need some enlightenment. I think I slacked a lot these few days, with incomplete assignments piling up forming the second Eiffel tower and etc. Ugh, someone kick my ass. And I just got told off by my tuition teacher today for having weak interpretation skills. Bah, I need to get things done!!!!

In another 2weeks or more time, my China counterpart will be coming over to Singapore for the twinning programme. I'm excited for the activities lined up for that week! Oh yes, Pa is one evil man I tell you. He said he wants to bring Qu Chang for some durians at Geylang and see her suffer. -.- Tsk...

Ciao.

"Spice up my life with thrilling roller coaster rides."

First week of school had just ended in a swift. It's quite relieving to see the weekends come but will eventually pass by very quickly. However, 'Youth Day' on Monday makes this particular week longer for me to finish up all my assignments. Anyone wants to go out and study together? Cause my pangsai girls are reluctant to accompany me. Where can like that one! The start of this term had been rather hectic for me. Home works were given to us straight on the first day, everything resumes back to normal, Councillor duties, etc.

Yesterday, SCB and Dance attended the SYF Opening Ceremony '07. Surprisingly, only a handful of dancers attended the ceremony. The performance staged by our own Siglap Nusantra(?)Orchestra group was fantastic! Way to go, SNO. The rest of the performers had really done well too. I personally feel that the performances were nice except for the part when a consecutive of traditional dances performed. I was merely asleep when Suzanna pinched me awake. -.- I totally loooovvve the Beat boxing, break dancing and the Cadet Band! The Primary school kids that performed that night was brilliant too, although their lining was a bit out. Nevertheless, good job to everyone!

Today, had Junior band again for 2 consecutive days. The juniors learnt 2 new scores today but they didn't performed up to my standard. They have to put in more effort and hardwork! Junior Band festival is in around 2months time, have to buck up k? =) After Band, went to Ws for lunch with the bandits. I went absolutely high and had a great laugh with them. Totally love you guys!

Tution tmr. I'm travelling there alone by bus... -.-

GAH! Freaking no life now.

"Nothing is free in this world."

It's exactly one more day before school reopens. I'm really excited to see all my friends back in school but thinking about the stress I'm going to overcome this time is alot harder. Man, I can picture out Ms Wee screaming at the top of her voice, forcing us to digest that lump of knowledge into our pea brains and Mr Azam showing off his powers-Sarcasm, indirectly telling us to drop Pure Physics. The reason why I'm picking out this two subjects only is because I scored badly during my mid-years (Hey, what about English?!) and the extra pressure the teachers & Uncle George gave me. You can't believe what Uncle George told me. He asked me to get all distinctions for my O's which is absolutely ridiculous. Tsk, madness. And this is not a one-time kind of thing FYI. Whenever he sees me, he will look at me with his fiery eyes repeating his words again. Ok, let's not talk about studies anymore.

Ngehaha, Mum was quite angry with Pa just now. He just told Mum straight off her face that she has quite alot of white hair when they were at the coffeeshop this morning. The worse part was that, they were sharing seats with other customers! Hahaha. Freaking funny! And Mum shouted at him. Ugh, I'm so bored lah.

"When your time is up, you'll have to leave."

I received a phone call from Ellycia at around 8am in the morning when my soul isn't back yet. I got a shocked as I realised I had overslept and passed the meeting time with the girls. However, I took my own sweet time to get prepared and strolled to the bus-stop. This day was 3E3's first class outing and everyone held an excited feeling in their hearts. However to my dismay, it was rather boring cos no one bothered to organise some bonding sessions, etc. BUTTTTT, I still had fun with my own clique which made me feel rather anti-social though. I had a great time enjoying and laughing around especially doing stupid stuffs like staring at Ms Priya and saying Hi to an invisible person behind her... failed attempt while doing this to Jian Hui... Shermain and I risking our lives on the Duo-bicycle, desperate to touch the ground... cam-whoring under the scorching hot sun which made me look like a lobster for that second... Shermain making me laugh till my lungs nearly stopped working, etc.
It's really heart-warming to see the four of us back together once again. =)

Yes, I had band camp for 3 consecutive days and I'm really drained out after all the commanding, drilling and fooling around with the bandits. The first day was damn jialat, everyone was so dead so Mr Pan punished us by running around the bball court for 10 rounds. I was really freaking angry with them. After lunch, we had games and I had been forfeit by my fellow bandmates on purpose. -.- (King's signature!) Overall, the first day wasn't focusing much on music wise but introducing the Sec1s to our Band culture. It's really tough for them I know but they improved drastically after this 3days camp!
The second day went on smooth-sailing. Everyone was cooperative enough and I was enthralled by their overwhelming response "Yes, ma'm.". This time we had more sectionals, full band, etc.
Third day was the same as the second day I guess.

This 3 days camp really made me learn alot and when I say ALOT=ALOT!!!. Learning from the past-years ex majors on how they lead and Mr Pan giving me meaningful advices. At first when I just stepped up as a Drum Major, I thought I wouldn't make it far but now after hearing what Mr Pan said to me. I'd really changed... to a XENA. But the fact is I don't realise the changing process which is kind of funny. Also, the bonding with the bandits had brought us closer everytime especially the Sec2s which I still remembered I don't even talk to them last year. They are really nice people! Not forgetting the Sec1s, showing high level of initiative made me feel really proud of them. Oh yes, Suzanna's going to conduct for their JBF so that I can feel less taxed and focus on logistic matters.
It's so happening...
